2003 Lake Water Test Results
The results of the 2003 water testing show our phosphorous levels to have changed
from a level of "mesotrophic: where the lake is moderately enriched with
nutrients" to "oligotrophic: where the lake has few nutrients".
One of the biggest causes of this is people fertilizing their lawns. The number
of manicured lawns on the lake has grown and this is going to kill the lake.
I would like to encourage people to reconsider the use of fertilizers and help
our lake become healthier again by refraining from using them.
